We're using the AM625 in a low-power-mode product and setting it into Suspend-2-RAM when not in use. We have a few different external wake mechanisms that we're exploring (LTE, WiFi, CAN) but are planning on using the RTC as a "wake source of last resort" ... basically setting the RTC to wake up the AM625 every 12 hours if nothing else has triggered a wakeup event in the meantime.
Are there any other timers, internal to the AM625 that can be used in this way? Or is an external RTC event the only path?
