Hi Max,
We do not have support for booting Linux off of PCIe currently in our SDK.

Hi Takuma,
I did not ask for booting up Linux from SSD, our bootstrap will be system boot up from OSPI NOR Flash, and Linux is installed on SSD.
it can run/load from it.
is that possible?
Thanks
Max
Hi Max,
We currently do not have support for PCIe in U-Boot, so loading Linux through PCIe is not supported.

Takuma
Hi Max,
do you have a plan to add this support to U-boot in the near future?
Yes, there are plans/internal discussions, but not in the near future.
Does it support loading Linux from eMMC?
eMMC is supported in U-boot, so yes, it should be able to load Linux. There are instructions for booting to U-boot here: https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-linux-j7200/09_02_00_04/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components/U-Boot/UG-Memory.html. Section 3.1.1.5.4. Booting Linux from SD card or eMMC has some hints for how to boot Linux kernel.
