Hello TI ,

We want to implement some function development based on OpenCL.

We hope to use AM62P as SOC.

At currently , does the AM62P SDK support the adaptation of OpenCL?

My first question, can OpenCL be executed on a GPU?

If so, does OpenCL have a GPU-based acceleration adaptation?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not have OpenCL with AM62P. The GPU is primarily intended for running OpenGLES.

Thanks for your reply.

We have a project that is planning to use AM62P as SoC.

The project required the MOD(moving object detection) function.

But there is not included a DSP/mma in AM62A.

So we are thinking about whether we can use GPU to develop MOD function.

If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know.

Hi,

On AM62P, the only option would be to use the ARM core and I am wondering if you have evaluated the performance of the A cores.

Additionally, if you require a SoC with DSP + GPU we have folllwing device from our sister product line: https://www.ti.com/product/TDA4AEN-Q1
