AM623: Lauterbach eMMC Flashing Script Corrupts the Processor

Hi,

I'm currently trying to bring up our new prototype with AM623 CPU. I found a scripts to flash eMMC on this thread;

After trying to flash I always had "CMD1 fail" log with response code was 0x0.

Our boards boot configuration is First is SD/MMC secondary is eMMC. While I try to flash I didn't change anything on boot modes.

The problem is we can't flash eMMC but moreover after this operation we can't run anything from SD/MMC also. We have several devices now in the same situation.

Can you help me?

Let's break this into two: 1) Flashing and then 2) Booting.

Could you confirm if the flashing is successful? If it is not then it is expected that nothing can boot from eMMC.

The flashing is not successful. It gives "CMD1 fail" error. As expected I don't expect to boot from eMMC. But eMMC is backup boot configuration and SD CARD boot is primary boot configuration. After trying to flash eMMC, We cannot use SD CARD boot anymore.

In what condition, you are able to boot from SD card?

Also, what is the exact bootmode pins positions you have configured?
