J721S2XSOMXEVM: Can't debug J721S2XSOMGG01EVM using CCS

This error is typically due to some hardware issue with the target - often a configuration issue. I will bring this thread to the attention of the device exerts for further suggestions.

Could you try moving to an earlier version of CCS like 12.3 or earlier and see if the issue persists?

The issue is observed on CCS 12.3 as well.

Hi Jaka,

Could you try lowering the TCLK to 2.5MHz, or 1.25MHz? There had been some issues in the past from higher TCLK: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/xdsdebugprobes/emu_xds110.html#jtag-clock-speed-considerations.
