AM625: DDR4 initialization failure

Part Number: AM625
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-AM62

Tool/software:

Hi,

I have a custom board based on SK-AM62. Based on the console output(attached below), it seems DDR4 is not initialized and booting stop there. I have followed the thread below which had similar issue for AM64x device.

 https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1371996/am6442-ddr4-initialization-failure-with-two-device-2-x-8-bit-ddr-configuration-of-a-custom-board/5312410?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=DDR4%20initialization%20failure#5312410

I applied the patch file given in the thread. But I dont see any DDR4 traning happening. Console output stil remains same as below.

U-Boot SPL 2021.01-00001-ga347ec164e-dirty (May 07 2024 - 13:33:51 +0530)
SYSFW ABI: 3.1 (firmware rev 0x0008 '8.6.4--v08.06.04 (Chill Capybar')
SPL initial stack usage: 13384 bytes

Please find the schematic attached for your reference. I have probed DDR_RESET and CKE signal and that looks fine too. Please give me a guidance to debug this issue. Also, I have a question that, this patch is generic for all am6xx device or only AM64x device?

Thanks,

siva.
