Hi Everybody
I am running the saMmapLoopback application and displaying the video through the DM3730 cvideo1_out output ports.I can seem the video, however, the video only has the luminance component.
I have tried command /saMmapLoopback -u 0 -i 0/ and /saMmapLoopback -u 0 -i 1/, but the results seem to be the same.
Has anyone help me output color composite video ?
Thanks
Hi,
Please try it on S-video output. By default i think its double channel.

thanks Shah
I have tried on S-video output, on the S-video output there is color. But i want to get single channel composite color video. What should I do?
Hi,
This requires a change in application and board too. Let me get back to you with required information. I am not sure about about change required. Hardware and software both supports CVBS output.

Hi,
Following are the steps to test composite on SD output.
1. echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/vpss/display2/enabled
2. echo composite > /sys/devices/platform/vpss/display2/output
3. echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/vpss/display2/enabled
4. Change jumper JP3 between Svideo and Composite output towards Composite.
Jumper is provided only on certain versions of board. I am not sure whether you have that jumper or not. If its not there than its not possible to use composite output on your board.
