TMS320C5517: Real time ECG data acquisition

Hi,

I am using the ADS1298RECGFE PDK with MMB0 mother board EVM for ECG data acquisition but it is not for real time application.It is also not Bluetooth and SD card compatible. So, I have gone through C5517 EVM DSP and C5515 EVM to resolve my issue.It might resolve the issue but these boards are also old.


So,Can anyone suggest some latest DSP mother board EVM other than the above for real time ECG signal acquisition which will be compatible to the ADS1298RECGFE daughter board???

    Hi Sudestna,

    I'm not aware of any newer EVMs that supports direct connection to the ADS1298 Daughter Board - ADS1298RECG-FE.
    Maybe you can build a board to connect the ADS1298RECG-FE to a newer EVM.

    You might have some luck with a multi-chip solution where C5515 or C5517 performs the data processing from the ADS1298 and a companion MCU performs the bluetooth and SD card operation.

    C5515/17 does support SD cards and CAN interface to Bluetooth devices, but this would require independent or 3rd party software development.

    You might want to reach out the ADS1298 team at this forum to see what they recommend.
