Hello,
customer uses the 1Gb S34ML01G2 NAND flash today and want to upgrade to 8Gb. Is there a 8GB flash memory with the same pining as the S34ML01G2?

Hi Holger,

TI does not manufacture NAND memories, however they all have standard pinout and are typically drop-in replacements.

Not that I know of. The AM437x GP EVM uses MT29F4G08AB, which is 4Gb.

customer sent us DS of Cypress S34ML01G2 (1Gb NAND).

Is there a chance to check if this might work with AM437x ?

Customer wants to use 8Mbit version of the S34ML01G2 Cypress family. Can you confirm too ?

I don't see any 8Mbit version on the datasheet you posted. Is this a typo? 8Mbit is only 1MByte !!!

However, AM437x will work with all NAND versions listed on the datasheet you posted.
