Hi all,

How to use the TEMP_DIODE_P Pin W6 for internal Temperature sensing for die temperature monitoring?.

Is there any external circuit required for using this?.

    That pin is only for production testing. The AM65x family has three other sensors available spread evenly through the chip.

    If you're using Linux they're available by reading the thermal_zones temp value.

    cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*/temp

    I'm not sure if RTOS has a driver for it. See the VBGAPTS section of the AM65x TRM for more details if you're curious.

    You can also read these temperature sensors through CCS using the GEL scripts that are supplied through the chip support package.
