1. Can I boot AM6548 IDK board using JTAG? If yes then are there any steps for the same.

2. Can I flash eMMC on IDK using JTAG? Using CCS or other tools, Do let me know.

Sarfaraz,

1) Yes, you can. Boot modes are documented in the TRM (http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spruid7 ), section 4.3.2.1 Primary Boot Mode Selection. One option is "sleep (no boot -- debug mode)." You can initialize the device from CCS through the provided gel files prior to loading/running your application. See the gel folder under your CCS install directory -- ccs\ccs_base\emulation\boards\am65x\gel

2) for flashing the eMMC, please see the Uniflash section of the Processor RTOS SDK documentation in section 3.5.1.
