Hello,

our emulator does not work from the very beginning. Symptoms are identical as described in:

e2e.ti.com/.../3365260

- The device never boots to normal mode, the mode LED is blinking green forever

- The device is never detected by the Windows device manager

- I tried several USB cables in addition to the supplied one, several USB ports and different Host Computers

- CCS Version 5.5.0, BlackHawk Drivers installed.

Although I am pretty sure that the device is defective I post this question in order to be allowed to send back the device to the distributor...

    If the LED never turns to solid green, then indeed it sounds like the probe never booted successfully.

    That is my guess also. At the very least I would contact Blackhawk support directly for further guidance.

    On a side note, I see you are using a very old CCS version. Any reason for that?

    We are maintaining some legacy SW, the effort to change to a newer release would be enormous..
