C6678 SPI BOOT process

I designed a 6678 board, and the boot mode is SPI.but I am not sure the detail how to convert an .out file to a file that can be burn into SPI flash using nor write.can any one give some advice for booting 6678 via SPI directly ?

(1)the detail for the spi boot process

(2)what tools I can use for convert ? and the user guide for the tools.

hello yufu for the details have a look at

- sprugy5b - bootloader document, C6678 data manual

you would need to

1.create a boot table
have a look here, where you can find example on how to do it.
hex6x converts .out file to boot table file
bttbl2hfile- conevert boot table to h file
hfile2array - creates an array within the h file which is your code

2. burn this array to the nor flash connected to spi using nor writer

which is a project under mcsdk lib

3. load the evm with dip switch configured to spi boot
