I tried to connect RS232 to AWR1843BOOST by using external FTDI cable. (Test for the develop new-radar board)
I've modified board as below.
- Connect wire AR_RS232TX, AR_RS232RX to external FTDI cable.
- Open resistor (R128 & R129) to prevent short to XDS110 Micom.
When I using mmWaveStudio, I've success to connect RS232 and SPI also. (below capture)
In ths time, the SOP setting is 011 (SOP2 : L, SOP1 : H, SOP0 : H).
But, When I firmware download by Uni-Flash, I got the error message.
In ths time, the SOP setting is 011 (SOP2 : L, SOP1 : H, SOP0 : H) also.
So I changed SOP setting to 101 from 011.
- 101 (SOP2 : H, SOP1 : L, SOP0 : H)
Nevertheless, It didn't work. The progress bar doesn't increaed at the open COM port, as like freezing. (No error message, just freezing)
Would you please what i'm missing point for using Uni-Flash?
