IWR1642BOOST: running mmwave studio

Tool/software:

I have a IWR1642BOOST and a AR1XXXEVM that should allow me to connect to the mmwave studio.

I have read through AWR1443BOOST: SPI disconnection error when run mmWave Studio 2.1.0 on AWR1443BOOST + AR1XXXEVM - Sensors forum - Sensors - TI E2E support forums.

However, although I get all of the connected status' and can do the RF Power-up I cannot run. It will try to load things and will load the first time then never move past the second.

    I have done all of the steps in the radar api but I cannot get any raw data. Within the Capture and Post Processing box under the SensorConfig page I cannot get the TSW1400 ARM to go through.

    Hello,

    This might be an issue caused by the version of firmware you are using, but can you tell me what exactly line 32 is doing in that file?

    When trying to open the file I am getting an error that saying

    "The file is not displayed in the text editor because it is either binary or uses an unsupported text encoding."

    I have downloaded matlab so not sure

    I have also tried to go through matlab online and could not open the file. It seemed to be jarbled information.

    I have tried to open other matlab files and nothing in appdata will open but the files that are in the ti folder open just fine. so, I do not think that I will be able to see what is wrong with line 32.

    What else should I try?

    In this thread, their error involves the same file but a different line. That being said your error does have HSDC pro in it so I think that would be a good place to look into. There are several other threads with an error at the same file.

    Also the error "Attempt to reference field of non-structure array" gives me the impression an input field is in the wrong form or typed incorrectly.
