Tool/software:

I use AWR1843BOOST + DCA1000EVM and want to see radar target images.
I do not have MATLAB.

I have three questions.

(1) Can I use "mmWave Demo Visualizer" to view radar images in a simplified way?

(2) Do I need to install the mmWave SDK to do so?

(3)When using mmWave Demo Visualizer, does the LAN cable connect to the Internet? Or does it connect to the DCA1000EVM?

I am a researcher and would like to experiment with this radar system for human detection!

We are planning to operate at a fixed station.
Before that, we plan to conduct experiments in an anechoic chamber.

Yes, you should be able to see the range doppler heatmap if you enable it in the plot selection.

Please be aware that range doppler heatmap is a lot of data to transfer through UART. In order to do that, you will need to slow down the frame rate significantly, for example change to 2 frames per second.

By the way, you can check the OOB demo output at Doxygen documentation in SDK release. You may change the SDK version name to match your download version.
