Linux/DCA1000EVM: RADAR Heatmap Images from DCA1000EVM Real-time data capture adapter

Part Number: DCA1000EVM

Tool/software: Linux

Does the DCA1000EVM real-time data capture adapter support publishing the RADAR (FFT) Images (Range vs. Azimuth heatmaps)?

I'm having difficulty finding out which data is available and how I can parse the Ethernet packets.

Thanks so much!

  • Hi,

With the DCA1000 EVM one can capture the raw sensor adc data.

This means that any processing of the data has to be performed offline, with tools such as matlab.

    thank you

  • Thank you.

If this is the case, does TI offer software than can then post-process this recorded data? I see vague references to scripts and "Radar Studio" in the forums, but no references in official user's guides. If you can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • The official name is "mmWave Studio". Please download from this link.

There is a user's guide included in the docs folder

    Thank you
