Hi team,
There is a description on page 17 of FDC2212 datasheet:”The reference count value must be chosen to support the required number of effective bits (ENOB). For example, if an ENOB of 13 bits is required, then a minimum conversion time of 213 = 8192 clock cycles is required.”
The this is, that if I use ENOB=13, I have 0x0200 in RCOUNT_CHx register. If I calculate value for ENOB=19 I have 0x8000 in RCOUNT_CHx register. Therefore logical thing is: in FDC2212 impossible to get 28 ENOB. How I can get ENOB=28 in FDC2212?
Hi,
Are you using EVM to do your testing? You can change the reference count and settle count to change the ENOB. You can adjust this in the GUI that displays the ENOB. Please refer to the blog for adjusting the ENOB.
Regards
Sharath.
