IWR6843ISK: mmwave studio 2.1.1.0 not working with ES2.0

Good morning all,

I have an issue running out-of-the-box IWR6843ISK with DCA1000EVM (without MMWAVEICBOOST). I can see in the studio that the FTDI is connected, but I can not connect to the RS232. I tried to find documentation related to this setup, but I have not found any. I also checked the device manager and got the attached ports.

No XDS220 as usual (that is why I tried to find documentation/schematics/any info about this specific setup). Do you know what, or how to start working with mmwave studio 2.1.1.0?

    Hello Ishita,

    I understand. Anyway, I found the schematic I wanted, inside the design files and the rev.C folder, and from there found the SOP switches

    S1.1 - SOP2,

    S1.2 - SOP1, and

    S1.3 - SOP0.

    Also, I read that I needed to set these as DCA mode, SOP[2,1,0] = [0,1,1]. After this, I was able to connect. Since it might bring some time to other users, I believe I can leave this posted for the IWR6843ISK + DCA1000 setup here. But, you are welcomed to remove it.
