License subscription

please let us know if the following helps: If you are looking to buy a license, I would simply buy a v5 license as this will work with both v4 and v5. If you are a v4 user: - you do not need to buy another license if you have one. However, if you wish to move to v5, you will either need an active subscription or to purchase a new license. If you are a v5 user: - you may simply decide whether or not to renew your subscription. So bascially the following applies. A subscription is not necessary to maintain licensed status, however is necessary to recieve major updates (eg v4 to v5, v5 to coming v6). V5 will be handled the same.

So I will need a new license to get v6.  When does that come out?  Perhaps it does not even fall under this years budget.

Also,  if I were to buy an extra license now - could I save it until v6 came out or would I be buying a v5 license?

Can you give me an approximate date for v6?  like Q1 2014 or Q4 etc?
