CCS 5.5 Installation error on Windows 8 64 bit

Hello

I have downloaded CCS5.5.0.00077_win32 and tried to install it on Windows 8 , 64 bit.

First time it gave Failed to install Eclipse error after few seconds. Second time it threw different error.

Attached is the error log. I have purchased a 3 user floating license and I want this system to be the license sever.

Pls check the issue urgently.

To add further info,

I have ensured disabling McAfee firewall and also downloaded the offline installer 2 times.

Did you try running in compatibility mode configured as Windows 7?

Would you be able to attach the logs from the InstallJammer folder (C:\Program Files\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv5\<install_random_number>\ )?

I could not find any such folder named as InstallJammer Registry under C:\Program Files\Program Files(x86).

My machine is 64 bit.

On windows 7, 64-bit, the precise location is C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv5\60556FE5-C1A1-4061-8DF8-FFB8393BAE2D. The InstallJammer Registry folder is hidden by default, so you may need to change your folder permissions to see it.

Attached is the logs from InstallJammerRegistry. I have tried the following, but no use.

1. Run setup.exe as admin

2. Changed the installation folder.

I think the problem is probably being caused by your anti-virus program. In addition to the firewall, are you able to temporarily turn off the real time file protection feature?
