CCS/TMS320F28335: Failed to install CCS8.1.0.00011 in win10 pro 64bit

TI Expert,

when I install the new version CCS8.1 in win10 pro 64bit,(also try to install when disable the anti-virus) ,there will often have the below warning:

an error occurred: Installer failed to install jre correctly. the 2 most common reasons
for failure are:
1 Anti-virus on your computer could have impeded the executable.
2 Download is corrupted.
please submit these logs to TI for analysis using the next dialog.
You may also visit the TI E2E CCS support forum for additional help.
The install logs are located in:C:/ti/ccsv8/install_logs/20180911142337

    Hi TI Expert,

    I ran into a problem when I installed CCS 8.1.0.  it shows an error occurred: installer failed to install jre correctly. the 2 most common reason for failure are: 1 anti-virus on your computer could have impeded the executable. 2 Download has been corrupted.

    my PC OS is win 10 pro, 64 bit operation system.

    after I try to install CCS three times that all failed , I contacted IT to disable the anti-virus and install CCS again , the same problem occurs again.

    Could you please help me to solve this ?  Thank you very much.

    I merged your two threads as they carry relevant log information on each one. However, in the future please refrain from posting multiple times to avoid duplicate efforts.

    We will analyze the logs and report back with some suggestions about what may be happening.

  • Hi Zhong,

    The installer's unable to download any components it requires, the connection is timing out. Could you please download the offline installer and try again. Make sure you unzip the install package.

    under your help, I have installed CCS 8.1 successfully, I choose offline installation, it can be successfully. if online, it will failed. thank you very much.
