PSPICE-FOR-TI: Differences between PSPICE-FOR-TI and PSPICE (Cadence Allegro w/ Comm. License)

Hey Team,

My customer is looking to build simulation models in PSPICE-FOR-TI and is wondering if a user can open and run the simulation file using PISPICE (commercial license). If there are any incompatibilities could you let us know, please?

We've noted that it looks like certain changes are required, for example re-linking the model library. Is there additional actions needed?

Hi Dajon,

That's a rather old version of SPB.

In general, PSpice for TI is the same as SPB (commercial version). They might have to add the .lib to their sim profile. That's pretty typical.

There's even a question regarding getting the TI library into SPB. But that's for 17.4. The folder structure has changed with 23.1 and Cadence is working on getting that working for importing the TI library.
