CC2640R2F: Which RF-PHY settings impact qualification

Part Number: CC2640R2F
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BLE-STACK, , SYSCONFIG

Good day!

We are developing Bluetooth® firmware based on the simple_peripheral project (using the BLE-Stack library from Simplelink SDK 5.30.00.03 (not the BLE5-Stack)).

SWRA601H (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra601h/swra601h.pdf) specifies that the host_test project can be used for SIG and regulatory testing, assuming it utilizes the same "protocol stack and radio configuration" as our custom project.

I noticed there are several PHY-related parameters that can be adjusted (during compile or runtime) to modify particular PHY settings (e.g., transmit power).  This leads to two questions:

  1. Which of these features could impact regulatory testing and qualification (i.e., which parameters or settings need to be identical between our project and "host_test")?
  2. Where would I find documentation on how to control these features? (I did find this link https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_5_30_00_03/docs/blestack/ble_user_guide/html/ble-stack-3.x/stack-configuration.html#stack-configurations, but wanted to ask if there are other relevant features).

Thanks!
