CC256XQFNEM: BL6450CQRVMR recommended Max Current rating for 3V3 and 1V8

Part Number: CC256XQFNEM

Hi

We checked the datasheet(BL6450CQRVMR automotive used) and did not find out about the supply current requirements of 3.3 volts and 1.8 volts.

Can you tell us what is the maximum current required in the worst case?

We are designing the power supply circuit for it.

         thanks

BR

  • Hi hejun,

The CC256XQFN-EM reference design has an LDO configured to output up to 100mA for the 1.8V power rail. I recommend following the reference design for this one.

For the 3.3V power rail, I recommend at least 500mA. The maximum current required can be determined by studying the "Power Consumption Summary" tables in the datasheet. For example, continuous transmission - EDR can be as high as 112.5mA. It would be good EE practice then to double or even x5 for the LDO output depending on what else you will need to power on your board.

    BR,
