LM5085 Input Voltage Gap Problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5085

I hope this is something others have experienced.  I designed a simple switcher using WEBENCH that has a 12V-48V input, 5V output @ up to 2A.  Of the 5 units returned by manufacturing, 1 works flawlessly and the other 4 not so well.

The issue that I'm experiencing is that between about 15V to 37V, the switcher just stops working.  After 37V, it turns back on again and works well over the entire output current range.

Also, I notice that the unit is running at 468kHz when WEBENCH design was for 330kHz.

I'm a bit lost as to what else to check.  If I place a scope probe at the junction of the MOSFET/INDUCTOR/DIODE, the device will sometimes work across the entire range.

Any ideas as to what I can look for?  Experiments to try?
