RE: TIDA-00472: TIDA-00472 - Can drive my BLDC Motor ?

Hi, The TIDA-00472 is a trapzoidal BLDC motor design with reduced bulk capacitor. It would be suitable for the low cost high voltage BLDC motor driver. You can start with the design. B.R Hawken.

RE: TIDA-00364: DC LINK CAPACITOR & INRUSH CURRENT PROTECTION

Kalyanraj, Capacitors will be needed supporting the instantaneous current requirements especially for high dynamic loads. For non-dynamic loads, capacitors can be reduced, Please refer http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00472 for one such use-case demonstration...

RE: TINA/Spice/CSD88537ND: CSD88537ND high side & low side approximate power dissipation

Hello Siddharth, I received a response back from my colleague: I don’t have a collateral showing the power loss calculation in MOSFETs for BLDC control. One quick reference should be TIDA-00472. Section 4.2 of the design guide document shows...

RE: TIDA-00778: change IGBT to NMOSFETs in parallel

Hi Tang, Yes, you are right. You have to tune the resistor values when you change the supply from 15V to 12V. Also, as discussed previously, you have tune the gate resistors based on the MOSFET you have used. Please refer the TI designs TIDA-00472 or...

RE: MSP430F5132: Source code for communicating with TIDA-01353 GUI

Hi, Unfortunately this design was based solely around the TIDA-00472 code and was not altered to keep porting firmware relatively easy for testing. There is not currently a GUI platform supporting this firmware. -Brian Dempsey
