LM139-MIL: Radiation performance

Part Number: LM139-MIL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM139AQML

Do you have any reports showing device performance after radiation exposure? In particular for 7700801CA which I believe is the same as LM139-MIL.

Thanks,

FR

  • Hello Francisco,

7700801CA is actually a LM139JB, belonging to the LM139-MIL family. These are QML Class Q (MIL-STD-883 Rev B), which is not Rad-hard. This is a native TI Military device (pre National Acquisition).

So there would be no Rad reports for this device.

The LM139AQML family are the ex-National Semiconductor (MIL-STD-883 Rev B) devices.

The -SP and QMLV devices are also ex-National devices and have gone through Rad Testing. The Radiation Reports are listed in their respective product folders for the Class V devices.

...and before you ask, yes there is some DNA shared between the National devices, though some rad-hard wafers may get some tweaks. TI cannot comment on the radiation readiness of devices not tested.

  • Thanks for that info. What about M38510/11201BCX (likely BCA)? Any info for it or is it really the same as 7700801CA ?

  • Hello Francisco,

Could not find M38510/11201BCX, where the "X" means other (A, B or C - must be specified at order).

We do have the M38510/11201BCA, which the "A" is hot solder dip plating (standard plating for Mil parts).

The M38510/11201BCA is essentially the same as the LM139JB mentioned above. So, yeah, it is basically the same.
