Hello,
I wanted to ask about some TI PCNs where it states that:
“Upon expiration of this PCN, TI will combine lead free solutions in a single standard part number, for example; INA193AIDBVR– can ship with both Matte Sn and NiPdAu. When available customers may specify NiPdAu finish by ordering the part with the G4 suffix, e.g. INA193AIDBVRG4.”
Is TI moving to combine all TI parts to this or is this just select devices? So will all parts with a tin (Sn) finish and NiPdAu finish option be under the same part numbers or is this piece meal, as in every part may or may not be this way? If all parts are moving to this convention then at what date will that take effect?
Thank you.
Hi,
Can you forward the PCN # or the document itself from which you quoted the language? It is probably the best resource for us to tell if this change applies to all TI parts or just INA193.

here is the attached PDN. This list certain parts, but I've seen this across multiple parts. My real question isn't just about the parts listed in this PDN, but if TI is doing this company wide as some initiative? Is this slowly going to be rolled out for all parts, but its currently being done piecemeal?
Hi,
I’m not aware of a company-wide initiative that affects all products.
From reading the document, it is clear to me that this change affects only the products listed.
