Hello,
I am working on a design for a +-300v bipolar PSU. I want to include a bidirectional current sense circuit so I an monitor the current of the +300v positive and the -300v negative rail. I was looking at the AMC1300 to do this because the application section of the datasheet states
"The low analog input voltage range, excellent accuracy, and low temperature drift make the AMC1300 a high-performance solution for industrial applications where shunt-based current sensing in the presence of high common-mode voltage levels is required" along with the following reference schematics.
However when I look at the operating conditions section the common-mode voltage is listed as –0.16 VDD1 – 2.1 and VDD1 is listed as –0.3 to 6.5. So will this part work? If not can you recommend a current shunt amplifier that will?
Thanks so much.
