Dear Mr. Mrs:
Besides the automorive grade, I would like to know if there are other differences between the LM2901AVQPWRQ1 and the LM2901PWR.
Thank you
Hello Pere,
The Automotive used a die similar commercial "A" grade die. The "A" grade had a very slight modification to get better offset than the non-A, so there is a very, very slight difference between the two die (99% similar).
But, basically, the circuit design and process is identical. I cannot say they are exactly the same because there are some (proprietary) differences. You probably would never see a difference between the two in operation. The difference is in the production testing and datasheet limits.
However, both devices will be under under PCN soon, and will eventually use the same upgraded die (but still maintain the same datasheet limits).
Hello,
Thank you very much for your feedback. If I udnerstood, the PCN refers only to the die but not the the EOL or fucntionalities. Is that right? Will remain the LM2901AVQPWRQ1 name as it is?
Hello Pere,
No EOL is planned for this part number. It is one of our top sellers and there are NO plans for EOL.
Here is the PCN:
