TLV7021: NCS2200SQ2TG replacement

Part Number: TLV7021
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV7011

Hi Team

do you think TLV7021DCKR can replace the NCS2200SQ2TG?

Could it be B2B solution ? or we need tune some RC value.

  • Hi Brian,

The NCS2200SQ2T2G is a push-pull device. The push-pull device that TI offers in this case would be the TLV7011DCKR.

The notable differences in specs are the minimum supply voltage and POR:

The NCS2200 has below 1V supply operation while the minimum supply for the TLV7011 is 1.6V. It's not shown in the schematic that you've shared, but if the V+ is above 1.6V, this difference shouldn't be an issue for the TLV7011.

The TLV7011 also has power-on-reset (POR) circuitry that holds the output to VEE whenever the power supply ramps up/down below minimum supply.

The pin-out of the two devices are the same, so if the differences listed above aren't an issue, the TLV7011 could serve as a drop-in replacement for the NCS2200.
