Hi,

I am not sure which opamp to change or would be suitable for the 2 Technics CD players.

Technics  SL-P477A
Current
LM833M - comparator

BA4560FT - buffer amp

==============

Technics SL -PG440A

LM833M - differential

Thank you

  • Hi Sam,

    I expect the most benefit will come from applying the high performance op amp after the converter in the signal chain. Then, focus on what follows it. Take a look at the OPA1602. It is a bipolar input audio op amp with very low noise and distortion. It is available in the MSOP package which I think may be used in the circuits. If not, it is available in the standard SO-8 as well.

  • Hi Thomas
    Thank you for the help again with the opamp and placement. I thought it was the LM833M, but it must be the 4560ft. I know the opa1612 did wonders on the V8 phonostage.

    Regards
    Sam
