XTR111-2EVM: Cannot obtain current

It looks like the end of your forum post was cut off which may have contained important information.

Anyways, there's probably something simple going on with your connections or how the jumpers are set. Could you upload an image of the EVM showing the connections you've made to it and how you have the jumpers set?

The supplied voltage is +24V as per mentioned in the user guide. The jumpers are removed in order to enable the current output setup. However, the error flag remains lit although there is no input voltage is supplied. Also, may i know whether the output current is independent of the external resistance ?

As with all current transmitters the maximum load resistance is based on the supply voltage, compliance voltage, and load resistance.  We wrote a blog on this topic, link below. 

The error flab becomes active in cases where the desired output current can't flow properly.  So, the error flag will become active if the load is disconnected or if the load impedance is too large which would prevent the output current from reaching the desired levels based on the input voltage and RSET resistance.
