OPA2541: Operating temperature range of OPA2541AM

Dears,

Our customer is using one of our Op Amp OPA2541AM , he has a question: the estore shows that the temperature range of OPA2541AM  is –55°C to +125°C, while the datasheet shows that is –25°C to +85°C. Which one is the operating temperature range of this device.

    Hello Richardo,

    The datasheet is the document that sets precedence. The OPA2541 datasheet Electrical Characteristics table lists the specified temperature range for the AM and BM grades as -25 C to +85 C (Tc). Parameters listed in the table's "Conditions" column that specify "Specified Temperature Range" are applicable over that temperature range. Otherwise, they are specified at Tc = 25 C as noted at the top of the table.

    I suspect that when the on-line information was transferred from the datasheet that the OPA2541SM temperature range was accidentally coped to the AM and BM grades. I'll alert our Marketing Engineer about the error and ask that it be corrected.
