INA117: INA117 : Output rated voltage ?

Hi everyone,

What is the meaning “Rated Voltage” of parameter Output in INA117 datasheet p2.

Rated Voltage Io=+20mA, -5mA Min : 10V Max :12V

Does it correspond to Output swing according to a specific impedance ? I don’t think. Does it correspond to a maximum output voltage ?

Hello Mathieu,

The "Rated Voltage" is pertaining to the output swing. In the data sheet the Minimum and Typical specification is based off +/-15V supply and a load of +20mA and -5mA. With the conditions stated in the datasheet the typical output swing of INA117 is 12V.
