TINA/Spice/TLV1701-Q1: TLV1701-Q1

Part Number: TLV1701-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, LM2901-Q1, TL331-Q1, , TL331, LM2903, LM339, LM393, LM2901

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

is it possible to obtain the Spice Model (.lib) of the mentioned comparator ?

I have a simulation in LtSpice where I used LM2901-Q1 (Quad Comparators), and it worked well in hardware.

Now I need a single channel comparator with same specifications. In Datasheet TL331-Q1 is recommended single channel alternate.

Unfortunately, the Spice Model (.lib) provided for TL331-Q1 is not working as LM2901-Q1 in Simulation.

I think the comparator TLV1701-Q1 should also be fine if it works in my simulation. But I can't its Spice Model on the website.

Thanks.

  • Hello Inam,

The SPICE model only models one channel at a time, so you can use any model from any of the devices in the family. The model also only models the typical values, so all the family devices are basically the same.

So you can use the same model for the LM2901, LM2903, LM339, LM393 & TL331 family.

So you can still use the LM2901-Q1 model for the TL331. They are identical.
