Using 50 Ohm coax cable between opamp stages

Hi,

I have attached a TINA snap shot where one opamp stage drives another through a 50 ohm coax cable.

Would, using a coax cable between opamp stages, be as simple as using a 50 ohm resistor at the output of the first stage (close to its' output) and one 50 ohm at the input of the second stage (close to +IN) ?

Given that: (1) The common mode resistance of the 2nd stage is high enough to barely affect the parallel sum of the two resistors (terminating res + opamp +IN CM res)

I understand off course that 50 ohms resistors are used in order to transfer max power and eliminate reflections. That, though, would introduce an attenuation of 6dB, right?

Also, what should be my approach if i wish to transfer a differential analog signal from a FDA to another FDA through a coax cable. Should i just use two RG type coax cables?

The reason i am asking is because i am working on a differential probe which i want to stay differential all the way to the ADC. So in order to do that the two complementary signals must be transferred somehow from the probe to the next stage which would be a FDA prior driving the ADC.
