TLV7031: voltage at in+ and in- without supply voltage

is it allowed if the supply voltage of the TLV7031 (3.3V) is turned off and there is still a voltage at the in+ and in- inputs (e.g. 5V)?

it's no problem for me if the output is not defined but the the TLV should not be damaged

    You won't harm the device as long as you don't exceed 7V on the input with the supply being 0V. I've attached some of the important sections from the datasheet.

    I would just like to add that while the device can tolerate a 5V difference on the inputs without a supply, it is not recommended. I presume you are talking about a minor period where this condition occurs. The device can tolerate this condition but should operate in the recommended input voltage range.

    thank you for the information.

    Actually the period where the device isn't supplied is always a very long period (e.g. 1 hour off and the 10min on) because this is the time where we want to safe power. But in the period where the device isn't powered i don't care about the output. Important for me is that the device isn't damaged.

    Based on your usage case, I would recommend looking into the TLV3701 and the TLV4021. Both of these parts are specified to perform like your design requires. The TLV4021 has an internal reference of 1.2V and the TLV3701 has no internal reference.

    In the meantime, I am going to take a couple of days to look into using the TLV7031 for this type of usage.
