INA111: About overshoot issue

Part Number: INA111

Hi,

When verifying the INA111 circuit, an output overshoot was observed at the time of pulse input.
Please tell me the conditions under which overshoot is likely to occur and the conditions under which overshoot is difficult to converge with respect to pulse input.

・Input signal : 6kHz (Pulse width : 26.6μs)

Could you give me your advice?

Best regards,
Yusuke

  • Hi Tsukui,

overshot is likely to occur at very low gain. Here's a snippet from the datasheet of INA111:

Another cause for overshot is capacitive output loading.

Can you show a schematic of your circuit?

    Kai

  • Hi Tsukui-san,

    Thanks Kai for the reply.

As Kai is indicated, the overshoot is likely caused at lower instr. amplifier gains.

We will reply to your specific question, if you are able to enclose a schematic. I have replied your other inquiry, the overshoot is likely caused by the Q in the INA111 at lower gains.  Since I do not know the INA111's output load, I am unable to comment on it.

    Best,

    Raymond
