Hello,

We are using VFC110 since 2012. All the batches we received until now are working fine. But we are facing problem in the last batch that we received in October 2020. As, they aren't behaving as they should.

Batch working properly: 6AZ42HW, 0AZ58SW

Batch not working properly: 36Z03F7

All the ICs are used in the same circuit, older batches working fine but there is problem with the last batch.

Please check whether the above mentioned part code is genuine or not.

Kindly provide some helpful insights regarding these problem.

    Hi Ravi,

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with the VFC110 product you recently received. Please note that we do not have access to product lot information in Applications Engineering which answers the technical questions handled here on the e2e forum. TI does not publicly release product lot/date code information due to the problems had with product counterfeiters. If you purchased the product from TI directly, or an authorized TI distributor, the product should be genuine TI product.

    Please contact the TI distributor or the TI office that your purchased the VFC110 product from and they should be able to work the issue back through the TI Quality channels.

    Hi,

    We are confirming whether our distributor is authorized or not. As you have mentioned that, you didn't have lot information, is it possible to confirm from the lot number by any other means?

    Also, the issue is still not resolved from our side.

    Hello,

    I am the Quality representative supporting the VFC110 component. Please refer to TI's quality policies which can be found here: TI.com/Quality. Analysis requests, including lot information, should be conducted through the customer's supply chain that uses an authorized TI distributor.
