TLC271B: VOH accuracy

Part Number: TLC271B

Hi Experts,

My customer is asking about VOH accuracy on each device. VOH is defined as below and the actual VOH varies, I think.

A device's VOH is 3.4V and other device's VOH is 3.6V etc. What is the VOH accuracy for each device? For example, 3.4V +- 10% or 3.6V +- 10%. The condition is fixed VDD(5V) and whole temperature range.

This opamp is used to detect photo sensor(I-V). When photo sensor is on, TL271B outputs at its the maximum VOH and it will be converted by ADC. They need to calculate the output accuracy to get industrial certification.

    Hello Uchikoshi-san,

Thank you for your question.  I have understood that you are asking for how much VOH will change for a single unit/device across the temperature range.  Please correct me if I am mistaken.

VOH will depend on a variety of factors, such as output current, common-mode voltage, and temperature.  Figures 6-9 cover these factors for this device and show how they affect VOH for a typical device.  In particular, I think your customer may be interested in figure 9, shown below.  Note that these figures are valid for "high-bias mode".

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question.

    Regards,

    Daniel
