Hi,

This is Hemila from HCL Technologies working in Dhiviya' s team.

We are trying to write to EEPROM using CDCE62005 but we are not able to do it. We can write and read all SPI registers.

Is there any possibility to write EEPROM through SPI? If so what are the register changes to be made?

I have attached our register settings.

EEPROM programming can be initiated through SPI with the command shown below:

This command can be initiated through which register like we have 0-8 registers.

Can you tell which register to be used?

Hi Hemila,

you need to write 0000001h to register address Fh. This will trigger the EEPROM programming.

Note: After either command is initiated, power must remain stable and the host must not access the CDCE62005 for at least 50 ms to allow the EEPROM to complete the write cycle and to avoid the possibility of EEPROM corruption.
