CDCDB2000: IO supply current per output

Part Number: CDCDB2000

Hi team,

in the datasheet of the CDCDB2000, it says IO supply output per output is 200mA when all outpit active.

Does that mean that when all outputs are active, each output is 200mA.  Or is the sum total of all outputs 200mA?

and what is the 3.3V worst case average current expectations on a specific use case of just using 12 out of the 20 outputs

  • Hi,

Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy.

The provided IDD current (IO supply current) - 200mA is for all output channels active, not for per output. We would take this input and correct in datasheet in next revision.

The device has separated 20 outputs in 4 clusters with 5 channels each and each cluster current is 11.6mA + active channel * 8mA = 51.6mA (all channels active).

Hence for 12 channels active out of 20, current expectation would be around  131mA.

    Thanks!

    Regards,
