TLC555: Technical question about TLC555 timer

Part Number: TLC555

Hi Team,

We want to use the TLC555 timer as a sequence controller.

After the IC main power rail rises and de-asserts the reset signal with a delay of 60-80ms .

Is it doable?

Thanks

Jimmy

  • Hello Jimmy,

Can you provide more information or illustrate what the customer is looking for? I am unclear based on the description. My interpretation is that the main power rail will control the reset pin. I am unsure of the delay function in the description above. A more descriptive explanation of the desired input, output and supply signals would help me better assist. For example, is the main ic power rail also powering the timer? Are you looking for a delay from the time reset is de-asserted and the output signal changes? Etc.

The power supply needs to be fully on to at least minimum supply prior to the reset pin control being recognized by the device.

    Best Regards,
