LMX2592: Muting output

Hi Team,

Can you help clarify the question below?:

The datasheet states that the output of LMX2592 can be muted by setting OUTA_PD or the other channel as below. If channel A is muted by sending a power down command to its buffer, for example. how much time is needed for the transition from enable to power down and also from power down to enable?

7 OUTB_PD R/W 1 Output buffer B power down
1: power down
0: power up
6 OUTA_PD R/W 0 Output buffer A power down
1: power down
0: power up

Hi Marvin,

LMX2592 output driver are disabling using the OUTA/B_PD settings for output power down. This is shutting down the driver bias and it will take time based on biasing cap and others.

Allow me sometime to get the measured data and will get back to you.

Hi Marvin,

After SPI write (one register write time), the transition time from power down to enabled output will take around 6-8usec (except RC settling time, which can be around 50ns for 100pF series cap and 50ohm load). Whereas enabled output to power down will be very quick (within 1usec).
