Hey team,
What is the time it takes for the device to switch between buffer types? Is it one clock cycle?
Thanks,
Cam

Hi Cam,
I was not able to find this specific information so I did a quick test and below are delay numbers that I see from this device.
Switch CLK Type DC couple: ~31.2 ns
Note common mode voltage might be not fully accurate because its not possible to have proper terminations when switching the output types.
Switch CLK Type AC couple: ~ 35.2 ns
Switch CLK Type AC couple Steady state: 30.12us
This delay is due to AC coupling caps which require additional time for outputs to go to right state. You can have different delays with different cap values.
CLKINSEL 0 to CLKIN 1 Switch Delay: ~ 17.4 ns

Asim
Hi Asim,
Could you test one additional transition please?
HCSL to Hi-Z and back.
Are the switching times for this transition assumed to be very similar to the previous tests? If you are in Hi-Z state, the clock signal output is 100% off, right?
Thanks,
Cam
