Hi ,

This is regarding the requirement of configuring the LMK05318B chip for varying reference clock when connected to a Host controller on the final finished product. Since the change in reference clock required configuring of multiple DPLL parameters as seen on TICS Pro GUI. Our concern is regarding how to calculate the DPLL parameters without access to the TICS Pro application in the device used. The reference clock frequencies lie in the range of 1 Hz to 10 Hz.

    Hello Akanksh,

    We currently do not have a way to calculate the DPLL parameters except through the TICS Pro GUI which leverages a matlab script.

    My recommendation would be to calculate a DPLL loop filter for your possible input frequencies from 1 Hz to 10 Hz in say 5% or 10% steps.

    Then based on the input clock frequency use one of those sets of values.
