LMX2582: LMX2582

Part Number: LMX2582
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PLLATINUMSIM-SW, LMX2491, LMX2571

thanks for the reply.

agreed with your reply , how much ac voltage is expected at the output.

since the output is rf related ac output, can i use pin diode to convert into dc voltage.

actually my application   is output should be dc voltage.

or suggest me new device for phase locked loop operation 56 MHz , for which the detector output should be dc voltage should be 0 v to 8 v.

best regards

  • Looks like a new thread and not sure what you are replying to..

The LMX2582 output needs to be AC coupled as there is a pull-up to 3.3 V.  We give dBm power single-ended and this can be converted to a voltage.  0 dBm is 0.632 Vpp single-ended.

For our synthesizers, most of the ones with integrated VCOs have a charge pump output that goes to 2.5 V.  The LMX2571 and LMX2491/92 can go to 5V.  For more than this, you can put an active filter to boost the voltage.  our PLLatinum Sim tool (ti.com/tool/PLLATINUMSIM-SW) supports active filter design.
