CDCE913: Start condition with EEPROM

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask CDCE913?

<Question1>
Can CDCE913 start to operate with EEPROM register setting?
For example, LMK03328 has Hard Pin Mode (ROM) and Soft Pin Mode (EEPROM).
CDCE913 has only Soft Pin Mode (EEPROM)?

<Question2>
In relation to <Question1>, does CDCE913 have any method which EEPROM returns initial condition (factory default configuration)?
As the background of this question, the customer asks that they would like to confirm EEPROM data with factory default configuration.
(We don't know what data is implemented on EEPROM.)

Matsumoto-san,

The CDCE913 only has starting from EEPROM as an option. There is not internal ROM in this device.
The default EEPROM configuration is detailed below:

We would like to confirm that CDCE913 have any methods which EEPROM returns initial condition.
After customer writes EEPROM data to configure their setting, is there any method to return to factory default configuration? or not?

Hello,

The CDCE913 does not have a way to return to the initial condition. Some of our parts such as the CDCE6214 have Fall-Back mode which allows the device to bypass EEPROM reading and return to factory default, but the CDCE913 does not have this.

You can, however, reprogram the EEPROM to the original default settings.

Correct. The Default register settings are detailed in the datasheet in Section 9: Register Maps for convenience.
